Green Road Gardens

Irene Kelly’s Green Road Gardens vision goes right back to her childhood! Irene grew up in a household where making and creating were part of everyday life and today she loves sharing and passing on that knowledge. In 2004 Irene began holding workshop and classes which now include Hypertufa pots and troughs, the foraged basket, and gardening through the seasons. A monthly workshop is held tackling seasonal jobs like pruning, propagation, seed saving and lots more, all run in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Regardless of ability Irene can help even the most novice gardener discover their passion for the great outdoors, and what better way to spend a sunny day?
“I suppose it is about connecting people with the natural world and getting in touch with their creative side while stepping away from the everyday stresses of life.” I like to think this happens in a very relaxed atmosphere in nourishing surroundings and with like minded people.”
