Opened since 1964, Lawlor’s menswear is a staple in the town of New Ross, first opened by Joe Lawlor and now run by son Ray. The building was originally a saddlery, but ever since Joe took over it has been one of the most popular menswear stores in the area. The family have become known not only for the quality of their menswear, but also their ability to dress customers for every occasion! In recent years Ray has expanded the offering to include school uniforms, with embroidery services available also! Through thick and thin this family business has held strong on North Street, thanks to a well earned reputation, as well as their ability to constantly diversify. In recent years they have expanded into sports wear, shoes and workwear, plus suit hire for special occasions. One of the biggest selling points of Lawlor’s Menswear however, is their knowledge of their customers and the attention and care given to each one. Generations of families have been welcomed through the door over the years, and will continue to do so as this great family business continues to grow on North Street.
