Christmas is probably the only time of the year when most of us shop relatively guilt free. The past 20 months have been incredibly tough and now more than ever we deserve to be good to ourselves. With restrictions being slowly lifted our schedules are getting busier with more nights out and meeting up with friends on the cards. Which only means one thing….. more outfit planning!
As we all know shopping is much more accessible now living in this digital world but there really is something special about walking into an (independently owned) shop and touching a garment, trying it on and getting that one to one service. Shopping small and local also means finding pieces that are sure to last long after the season ends. The high street is easily accessible, but quality over quantity comes first in my opinion. I’ve had the pleasure of browsing around the boutiques of New Ross and I’ve picked some of my favourite pieces to share with you. Think investments coats and boots, something for a night out, Christmas day comfies, statement pieces and not forgetting the foundations – the correct underwear really completes a look perfectly.
The main thing I noticed on my search is the fantastic choice there is for fashion lovers, some current trends are peeping through and beautiful timeless pieces that you would expect to see from a boutique. There’s also a great mix of gorgeous brands around town too and something for all ages and budgets. New Ross really is a little gem for shopping. I hope you find something you love too!
