Dollar Bay Beach is a small beach that you will pass on route to the Hook Lighthouse. Located just next to another beautiful slightly larger beach of Booley Bay. Surrounded by high rocky cliffs and green fields make this a really picturesque setting. The bright blue sea and golden sand would make you think you are on a tropical Island. The name Dollar Bay comes from the local legend of an alleged hidden treasure still on the beach to this day. So you could get more than just golden sand while visiting this beautiful location of Dollar Bay.
