2023 marks a significant year for New Ross company Harte Outdoor Lighting who are celebrating forty successful years in business. This local enterprise headed by Liz and Jack Harte is steeped in history and has gone from strength to strength since its establishment in 1983. The dedicated team at Butlersland have navigated various challenges over the past forty years yet have always remained committed to providing consistently high-quality products to customers throughout Ireland and the rest of the world.
Following the founding of the company in 1983 by Willie Harte, they have developed an extensive product catalogue including a range of both traditional and modern designs in cast iron and galvanized steel. Harte Outdoor Lighting are recognised as the sole manufacturer of cast iron outdoor lighting in Ireland and their skilled team comprises of sixteen locals who oversee the crafting, finishing, and distribution of their products.

The company has undergone significant growth over the past few years, with expansion of their repertoire from the national to the international markets. Over the past year, deliveries were sent to the UK, USA and even Australia!
