Dollar Bay

Dollar Bay is a small beach that you will pass on route to the Hook Lighthouse. Located just next to another beautiful slightly larger beach of Booley Bay. Surrounded by high rocky cliffs and green fields make this a really picturesque setting. The bright blue sea and golden sand would make you think you are on a tropical Island. The name Dollar Bay comes from the local legend of an alleged hidden treasure still on the beach to this day. So you could get more than just golden sand while visiting this beautiful location of Dollar Bay.

Duncannon Beach

The mile long beach which offers heritage and history to your visit. The sand and sea have a softness which is striking contrast to raw architecture of the fort located just behind.

Kayaking and Surfing are just some of the activities which take place along this stunning coastal spot. It is also part of the wheelchair scheme. You can also drive right onto the beach with parking on the beach allowed.

Booley Bay

Booley Bay is another small beach that you will pass on route to the Hook Lighthouse. The secluded beach has good space for Parking on the Road down to the Beach. Booley Bay Beach was also awarded the Green Coast Awards 2019 and it’s easy to see why. The vibrant green fields surrounding the beach make for a beautiful view.
